About Rosie
Meet Rosie! Rosie is a resilient little survivor, learning what it means to be safe and loved at just 1.5 to 2 years old and around 11 pounds. Found tied to a groomer's door, she arrived in rough shape, severely matted and needing sedation for her first grooming. Thanks to her groomer and our outreach, she's now thriving with a beautiful chestnut coat. Rosie's foster mom says she’s been a joy—no accidents and no destructive habits. She's playful, loves her toys, and sleeps soundly through the night. Not a barker, Rosie walks beautifully on a leash. Good with dogs and cats, she even enjoys some playful wrestling with kittens! Despite her progress, Rosie is still a bit fearful and needs a patient family to help her feel secure. She's especially cautious about physical affection but transforms into a relaxed companion when nestled in bed with her foster family. Full of agility and energy, she would thrive with an active family who enjoys long hikes and cozy post-adventure naps. Rosie envisions her ideal home as one with a fenced yard, no young children, an active lifestyle, and plenty of toys to play with. She needs time and understanding to build her confidence and trust. Rosie's come a long way, and now she seeks a loving family to guide her into a bright future. Ready to show her that the past is behind her? Click apply to start the adoption process.
