About Hershey aka Kain
Hershey, also known as Kain, is a Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a solid history of family life and a desire to be part of every moment. He’s a medium-energy adult male, house and crate trained, and up to date on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Originally adopted as a puppy, Hershey returned to rescue not by any fault of his own. He thrives in the company of dogs his size or energy level and does well with cats during supervised play. He hasn’t lived with children but can be evaluated with them if needed. In his foster home, Hershey is enthusiastic about learning commands—so far he knows Sit and ‘Touch’ and is eager to keep going. He is deeply affectionate and happiest when close to people or playing with his foster siblings. Separation can make him anxious, so he’ll need a home where someone’s around much of the time. Ideally, he’d join a family with another dog to keep him company. Hershey’s an affectionate shadow who just wants to love and be loved. By the way, being born December 7 makes him a Sagittarius—expect a little extra curiosity and playfulness. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
