About Smudge
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Smudge is about 3.5 years old and weighs around 20 pounds. He is a neutered, fully vaccinated mixed breed with a short black coat. Smudge will arrive crate trained and is making progress with potty and leash training—just a little patience and he'll be a pro at both soon! With an affectionate and playful spirit, Smudge may be a bit nervous in new or sudden situations at first. He gets along well with most dogs (especially females), as well as adults and older children. His adaptable nature will allow him to settle into your family's routine quickly and become an integral part of your daily life. Smudge’s journey began in the fields of Tecate where he spent most of his life, later enduring tough times in a street-side cage. He overcame both distemper and anaplasmosis, and thanks to loving foster care, he is now healthy and thriving. This devoted pup is ready to give his heart to a caring family willing to offer patience, affection, and the attention he truly deserves. Smudge longs for a warm home where he can be cherished as a beloved family member! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
