Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Mia is an adorable mixed breed Mali who, at approximately 7 months old (as of June 2025) and weighing around 28 pounds, is settling beautifully into her foster home. This sweet girl is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations, with a lovely medium-length black and chocolate brown coat that’s easy to fall in love with. Though Mia isn’t crate trained just yet, she’s making steady progress with leash walking and potty training—and it won’t be long before she masters all three! Her playful, affectionate, and social nature shines through in everything she does. Mia is great with other dogs (especially male dogs), as well as with adults and children. Her youthful enthusiasm means she’ll quickly learn your family’s routines and become a treasured member in no time. Mia’s journey began when she was found malnourished and anemic on the streets of Tecate, but thanks to loving care, she’s now healthy and thriving.
