Rocko is a medium-sized adult hound mix with a short brown and tan coat. He is neutered and lives in Monroe, NC. Rocko is up to date on vaccinations. He's relaxed but playful and would do best in a home with older children or adults and no cats.

About Rocko

Rocko was left alone in a house for a week, forced to fend for himself before rescue. In those early days, he was fearful, especially of kennels and being left behind again. The rescue team put in steady effort to help him feel safe, teaching him that a kennel can be a haven instead of a punishment. Now, Rocko has left that fear behind. He’s an easygoing dog with a strong sweet side. He likes his bursts of energy in the yard and is always up for snuggles and kisses. Rocko gets along well with other dogs, but he’s best suited to a home with older children or adults. He doesn’t do well with cats, so cat-free families are the right fit. If you’ve got space to offer and want a loyal, loving companion, Rocko could be your match. A fenced yard is a must for his zoomies and peace of mind. Give them the home they have been waiting for.
