About Ginger
Ginger wound up in rescue after escaping a rough start, coming from a hoarding situation with more than sixty dogs. She arrived pregnant, delivered nine healthy puppies, and now, at about 25 lbs, is a small, beagle-sized mix who’s finally getting her own chance at life. She’s got a tiny nub tail that never stops wiggling. Shy and cautious at first, Ginger takes her time with new people, but snacks and routine work wonders. She perks up around dogs of any size and tolerates adult cats, though kittens get her prey drive going. Ginger is still learning the ropes on house training—she uses pee pads when needed and uncertainly freezes when leashed, so plenty of patience is a must. She’s spayed and vaccinated, and her adoption fee is waived. Ginger is currently safe in a Cosby, TN foster home, waiting for a gentle adopter willing to give her a real sense of security.
