Just like his name implies, Pie is a Hisser. Despite the Hissy fear he exhibits, you can tell he wants to be loved. This is why we pulled him from a neighboring shelter even though he wasn't the sweetest and was on the euthanasia list. We have few volunteers and many cats. We give Pie as much love as time allows, but what this boy needs is someone who is patient and has more time to show him that humans are not here to hurt him, only to love him. Would you like to give this guy a chance? If so let us know. BTW, his eye is okay, he is just giving the photographer a squint to try and look fierce. Pie has a sister name Sweetie. She is not yet vetted, but she will be very soon. She is not quite as Hissy and Pie, but Sweetie is a bit of an exaggeration. She will need a home too. Pie has a reduced adoption fee of $100. This is less than it costs us to vet him, but we will gladly adopt him out at that price to a family or person who has the love to offer him and give him a good home. If you decide to adopt Pie Hisser and his Sister Sweetie, we will give you a deal of $150 for both!!
