Don't judge Nyx by her face. She doesn't always have that scowl. Another cat was eyeballing her cat food while her picture was being taken. She is a sweet girl who came to us from a neighboring animal control. It turned out she was already spayed, which means at one time she must have had a family. She didn't tell us what happened to separate them, but we are hoping to find this lovely lady a new family that she can stay with for the rest of her life. She is an older kitten, not quite a year old. She was nervous when she came into our shelter and hid a bit in the back of her kennel, but now she loves to be petted. Nyx's adoption fee is $150. She is now also vaccinated, combo tested and microchipped. If you've been waiting for a black cat in your life, she may very well be the one. Let us know and we will set up a meet and greet with her.
