About Murphy

Murphy is a polydactyl cat with extra toes and a larger-than-life personality. He grew up outside in St Inigoes, cared for by kind folks who made sure his colony was fed every day. Once he was neutered and brought indoors, Murphy settled easily into life with other cats and now gets along well with feline friends. In his early days, as an unneutered male, Murphy picked up FIV during scuffles over territory. FIV only spreads through deep bites, so with a proper introduction, Murphy can live with other cats safely. He can’t pass FIV to people. Because his immune system is lower, Murphy needs prompt care if he comes down with even a minor cold; immune-boosting supplements help him thrive, and most FIV cats go on to live long, healthy lives with attentive care. Murphy’s mitten paws and fluffy brown tabby tail make him stand out from the crowd. He’s playful, energetic, and loves a good cat condo, but he’s also happy to settle in for a cozy nap at the end of the day. Murphy’s affectionate nature and enthusiasm for playtime make him an ideal companion. He’ll keep you entertained and then curl up for cuddles when the fun winds down. Murphy is ready for an indoor home where he can be safe, loved, and appreciated for the fantastic cat he is. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
