About Zoey
Zoey is a large adult brown tabby with short hair who has come a long way since being trapped from a managed cat colony before a harsh Minnesota winter. She's the quieter, more submissive one of her group, which makes her a bit timid around new faces. Once Zoey settles in and trusts you, she reveals her sweet and affectionate side, happily curling up on a lap or close by for company. Zoey does best with patient adopters who understand she'll need time to adjust to a new home. She responds well to treats—especially pates and lickable tubes. Of her colony siblings, Zoey tends to get picked on by bolder cats, so a gentle housemate or adopting her with her sister Nutella or colony mate Punkin would be ideal. She's fully litter box trained, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Her compatibility with dogs and children isn’t known. Born July 23, Zoey is a Leo, so once she feels secure, she’ll lean into her loyal and affectionate nature. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
