Ryder is a striking 2-year-old German Shepherd Malamute mix who was recently surrendered to our center after his previous guardians felt they could no longer manage his behavior. While he initially presents as aggressive, we believe much of what we’re seeing may be rooted in fear and confusion from losing his home and being in an unfamiliar environment. Ryder is still learning how to navigate his new surroundings, and we’re hopeful that with time, patience, and the right person committed to working with him, he’ll begin to feel safe enough to show his true self. He deserves a chance with someone who won’t give up on him.
