About Swiss
Meet Swiss, a charming young pup looking for his forever home. He and his brother Colby were rescued from a crowded animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now thriving in a loving foster home in Chicago. Swiss has the heart of a lovebug and the playful spirit of a puppy. While he may be a bit bashful at first, a few gentle pats and treats quickly win him over. He embodies a mix that resembles a jumbo-sized Boston Terrier with aspects of a miniature Boxer. At 9.5 months old and weighing around 35 pounds, he's set to become a fantastic medium-sized companion perfect for urban or suburban living. Energetic and curious, Swiss will shine in an active household that offers both mental and physical stimulation. He enjoys walks, playtime with other dogs, and snuggling on the porch. Currently crate trained and progressing well with housebreaking, he just needs a family committed to his continued training. Swiss is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, making training a fun experience. He comes already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and has started on flea and heartworm prevention. All he needs now is someone to share his love with. Interested in meeting Swiss? Heโs fostered in Chicago, and visits can be arranged by appointment after submitting an adoption application. His adoption fee is $475, helping to cover his medical care and neutering.
