About Bonsai

Meet beautiful Bonsai! This delightful pup is looking for her forever home. She was rescued from a crowded animal control facility in rural Kentucky and is now thriving in a loving foster home in Chicago. At just 8 months old, Bonsai weighs over 50 pounds and boasts a mix of 51% German Shepherd and 32% Doberman, along with smaller percentages of Australian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Chihuahua. Bonsai is a tender and affectionate companion, bonding deeply with her humans. While she can be a bit shy and unsure when meeting new people, kind words and gentle pats quickly win her over. Given her timid nature, a home with older children or no kids would be ideal. She enjoys playtime with her canine foster siblings and is doing well with house training. Bonsai is crate-trained and highly trainable, being food-motivated and eager to please. This loving pup is currently vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and ready for her forever family. Her adoption fee is $475, and meetings can be arranged by appointment for approved applications. Bonsai can't wait to meet you!
