Maddie is a young female Basenji/Corgi mix, believed to be medium-sized, sporting a short golden and white/cream coat. She is currently at Destination Home Puppy Rescue, where she shows off her playful yet calm temperament. Maddie enjoys the outdoors, is independent, and is both crate and potty trained. She is now fully recovered from her recent spay surgery and is ready for her next adventure.

About Maddie

This could be the start of something paw-some. Maddie came into care on July 2, 2024, as a tiny pup alongside her brother, who sadly lost his fight with parvo after just a few days. Despite facing a tough start and complications from her spay surgery, Maddie has bounced back beautifully and grown into a well-mannered, delightful young dog who’s ready for her forever home. From her foster, Maddie is described as an absolute delight—playful, independent, and loving the outdoors. She gets along with one other dog and thrives on nice, leisurely walks but enjoys her bursts of energy with the occasional zoomies! She’s both potty and crate trained. Maddie must go to a home with a secure fence, and she’d do best in a family with children over 8, or with no children at all. Her calm but active demeanor makes her a wonderful companion for someone seeking an independent yet loyal pup. She is hoping for her perfect match to come along. What are you waiting for?
