About Buddy
Buddy was found right after the Fourth of July, frightened and nursing a fractured leg. Thanks to dedicated care, he’s now fully healed and looking for his forever home. He’s a classic cuddle bug, happiest when he’s close to his person, always wanting to tag along and soak up affection. Buddy’s loyalty runs deep—he sticks by your side and is generous with his attention in return. He’s got a big presence and isn’t shy about showing his feelings, especially when other dogs are involved. Because Buddy gets a little jealous when attention is divided, he needs to be the only pet in the house. An experienced owner who can balance love with structure and patience will be the best fit for him. For someone looking for a devoted companion who’s happiest as your one and only, Buddy is ready to meet you. He was born July 10, making him a Cancer—no surprise he’s sensitive and deeply bonded to his people. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!

Questions about Buddy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Manchester Terriers and mixed-breed dogs like Buddy adapt well to homes where they can be with their people most of the time. Buddy will be most comfortable in a stable environment with plenty of attention from his owner.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Buddy, as a Manchester Terrier/mixed breed, benefits from a secure yard or regular walks for exercise and mental stimulation, but he’s small enough to thrive in homes without a large yard if given daily outdoor time.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Manchester Terriers and similar mixes can be good with children when well-socialized, but since Buddy prefers to be the only pet and has strong emotions, a home without young kids or one with older, dog-savvy children would be best.
