About Ascher
Ascher is a big-hearted American Bully with a backstory that pulls you in and leaves you rooting for him. Raised from a puppy as the center of his human’s world, everything changed when he lost his person, and suddenly found himself alone. Despite the heartbreak and confusion, Ascher’s spirit never faded. A generous foster stepped in and Ascher quickly showed his gentle, comforting nature—the kind that helps both people and animals feel safe again. The vet has nothing but praise for Ascher, particularly for his calm, cuddly ways. He thrives on being near people and brings real comfort, inspired in part by the loss he’s experienced himself. While he’s working on becoming a therapy dog, what he craves most is a soft landing: a warm lap and a home that sees his worth. He does have ongoing allergies, and being a senior, he may stay in foster care long-term, but all he really needs is someone willing to offer him lasting love. Ascher gets along with both dogs and children, and he’s lived enough life to be wise yet still soft. Give Ascher the new start he’s been waiting for. Your new best friend is just one click away.
