Sandy is a young Boxer/Shepherd mix estimated to be a little over two years old. She was discovered in the fields of Thermal, doing her best to shield her nine puppies without food or shelter. Against the odds, only two of her pups, Sunny and Snoopy, survived, and they as well as the rest of her litter have all found homes.
