About Elly
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Elly might appear to be just a plain black dog at first glance, but with a little time, you'll discover she has a world of personality waiting to shine. Like many black dogs, Elly has been overlooked and has patiently waited for her perfect family since March 2022, with no inquiries. She is eager for a loving home and offers unwavering loyalty—her expressive eyes say it all. While her early life is a mystery, someone clearly showed her love and taught her basic commands. Elly and her sister Macie survived being abandoned on a dirt road during the harshest winter months, showcasing her resilience and heart. Elly quickly bonds with a confident leader and thrives with gentle guidance. She gets excited and sometimes jumps up, though her foster family has helped her improve, and she shows genuine submission if corrected. Elly adores the company of other dogs and would thrive in an active family. Because of her jumping, a home without small children is best, but she’ll happily join your adventures and walks—leash time is her delight! She comes spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, ready to meet her match. Fun fact: born January 28th, Elly is an Aquarius—Aquarius dogs are known for their quirky, loving natures and independent spirits. Your new best friend is just one click away.
