About Buddy

Buddy’s luck changed when he was discovered living under the porch of a falling-down house. Even then, his spirit stayed bright. Now in foster care, he’s learning to enjoy indoor life and picking up on what it means to be part of a family. This friendly, affectionate dog thrives on attention and play. At about 3 years old and fully grown, Buddy’s possibly a Cane Corso/Husky mix with a loving Labrador soul worked in—solid, big, built for loyal companionship. He enjoys fetching stuffed toys and gets a real kick out of running free on the foster’s farm. Buddy is already used to cats from his past, reportedly does fine with chickens, and has done well with other dogs in the foster home. He’s happy around people and seems ready for just about anything. House trained, recently vaccinated, and with his neuter and microchip coming up, Buddy is finally getting the care he deserves. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to belong somewhere warm and safe, ideally with someone who will keep up his new life as a well-loved indoor companion. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
