About Fern Lily
Fern Lily is a 10-month-old (as of November) Hound/Labrador Retriever mix with a youthful spark and plenty of love to give. She thrives when playing with other dogs and would do best in a home where another playful dog is part of the family. A fenced yard is also a must for her to burn off energy and enjoy her favorite outdoor games. Fern Lily is both crate trained and house trained, making her a manageable addition to a busy household. With new people, Fern Lily is affectionate and quick to offer kisses, but she may be timid when her foster family isn’t by her side, so patience is appreciated as she warms up. She lives with a child now but tends to jump, so she’s better matched to families with older kids. Fern Lily is happiest when she’s part of the action—cuddling at night, romping outside by day. Her ideal home is active and outdoorsy, where she’ll be included in every adventure. She’s spayed, microchipped, current on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX tested, and on monthly preventatives. Applicants must live within 30 minutes of Antioch, Des Plaines, or Elgin, Illinois. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
