About Chessie
Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today. Chessie is a beautiful and sweet girl ready to find a home of her own. Having worked closely with a professional dog trainer, Chessie excels on leash and responds well to commands. Her trainer is very fond of her and always praises how much she thrives and learns during their sessions. Once rescued from a high-kill shelter, she narrowly escaped euthanasia, and now she’s hoping to become someone’s perfect companion for walks, hikes, and spending quality time together. Chessie is treat-motivated and highly intelligent, which makes her both eager to please and quick to learn. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, making her a ready choice for anyone seeking a loyal friend. Chessie has also shown a special fondness for men and would do particularly well in a home with a retired male who can enjoy her company throughout the day. Come meet this well-mannered girl and discover her gentle, loving nature firsthand! This could be the start of something paw-some.
