Meet Katie! (ID: A0056656791) Katie is a 1-year-old spayed female, around 45lbs, and half of a bonded sister duo with her best friend Kenzie. While Kenzie is the more adventurous one, Katie is the homebody—calm, sweet, and happiest in a familiar environment with her people nearby. Katie is potty and crate trained, well-behaved indoors, and loves to snuggle up once she feels safe. She’s a bit nervous in new places, but once settled into her routine, she opens up and shows her affectionate side. Katie is also quite playful with other dogs, and she and Kenzie love to romp and explore together. When it comes to cats, Katie’s a little too curious (she did try to gently "taste" the resident kitty), so a home without cats would be best. She hasn’t been around kids, but due to her more sensitive nature, a quiet home with older or calmer children would suit her best. Katie may need a little time and patience as she adjusts, but once she does, she’s incredibly loving and loyal.
