Meet Zoey! Zoey is a 2-year-old Border Collie with a heart as big as her energy level! This happy girl absolutely adores everyone she meets and is always ready to make a new friend. One of Zoey’s favorite ways to show affection is by giving gentle hugs — she does still jump up on people sometimes, but it’s all out of love, and most people can’t help but find it adorable. Her foster family is continuing to work with her on keeping all four paws on the ground. Zoey is playful, outgoing, and full of fun. She plays HARD and would thrive in an active home that can match her enthusiasm for life. Her favorite game is herding her foster dog siblings around the yard, which means she can sometimes be a little nippy during play as part of her natural herding instincts. Because of this, she would do best with a playful, energetic dog companion who enjoys rough-and-rowdy fun as much as she does. Despite all her energy, Zoey is an incredibly sweet and happy girl. She is not aggressive with people or dogs and is not destructive in the home. She is house trained, crate trained, and great with kids. She’s also working on improving her leash skills. Zoey is looking for an active family who will embrace her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her the love and exercise she craves.
