About Nathan
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Nathan is a handsome and intelligent Border Collie/Belgian Malinois mix with a beautiful tri-color coat and a zest for life. Born on July 8, 2023, Nathan spent his earliest days in foster care alongside his siblings, overcoming a rocky start to become one of the healthiest and most vibrant of the bunch. He’s eager to learn and highly treat-motivated, making training an engaging experience for both dog and handler. Nathan is shy at first, but once comfortable, he blossoms into a fun-loving and playful companion who will bring laughter and energy to your home. Nathan gets along wonderfully with people, other dogs, and cats, and is crate trained. While he hasn’t yet been introduced to young children, he shows a gentle and submissive nature around other animals and new friends. He’s not yet house or leash trained but is a quick learner who will pick up on routines with some patience and guidance. His foster mom thinks Nathan could excel at agility, and he dreams of hiking, feeling snow under his paws, and curling up next to the fireplace with you after a day of fun. With his birthday in July, Nathan is a Cancer—sweet and loyal, he’ll love being part of your pack. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
