About Ronnie

Ronnie is a medium-to-large Chow/Jindo mix, born in January 2023, now looking for both a foster and permanent home. When Ronnie first left the shelter, he was clearly anxious and very shy, but not once did he show aggression. Since then, he’s adjusted to kennel life: group play has helped him come out of his shell, and now he enjoys sprinting around with other dogs and cooling off in a kiddie pool. He’ll still hesitate a bit when meeting new faces, but once comfortable, his playful energy takes over. Ronnie can’t live with cats or chickens, and his compatibility with children remains unknown. His long, reddish-brown and white coat gives him a striking look, and he’s already neutered and vaccinated. Though he’s built some confidence, Ronnie still needs patience as he continues to adjust. His zodiac sign is Aquarius, which might explain his quirky, independent streak. Ronnie is currently in Santa Paula, CA and ready for the next chapter. Your new best friend is just one click away.
