Mochi, also known as Mochi Bear, looks like a miniature bear with his thick black coat and unmistakable Chow Chow features. He tends to be cautious around new people and situations at first, but once he settles in, he turns into a goofy, affectionate companion who can't help but express his joy with tail wags and the most endearing snorting sounds. His social skills shine with both people and animals—Mochi currently lives harmoniously with a cat and two other dogs, and has handled introductions to new canine friends with ease. Watch Mochi race through the yard doing zoomies or chasing his own tail—he's always up for a laugh. He’s a follower, sticking close and enjoying quality time with his person, leaning into any sort of gentle attention, especially face, ear, belly and back rubs. Brushing suits him, and he’ll happily soak up hugs. Mochi knows his basic commands, takes treats gently, and is both crate and leash trained. He travels well by car, though a homeopathic for nausea is smart before longer rides.
