About Venus
Click apply to start the adoption process. Say hello to Venus, a petite and beautiful orange Domestic Short Hair who is about 18 months old. Venus’s early days as a stray were tough, but she overcame them with grace, giving birth to her kittens in the safety of a caring family's bathroom. After nurturing her little ones, Venus found her way to Bond County Humane Society, where she’s continued to blossom. Initially a bit shy, Venus has grown to trust her foster family, eagerly greeting them and melting their hearts with her sweet spirit and endless purrs. Currently, Venus is adapting to life back at the shelter and is proving herself to be both gentle and affectionate. She enjoys quiet, low-maintenance moments and is content to self-play. While she can be nervous around loud noises or new people, her gentle nature shines through—she's never aggressive and prefers to show her love through snuggles and head rubs. Venus is now spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for parasites, and microchipped. She is ready for a patient, loving adopter to give her the forever home she deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
