About Pork Chop
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Pork Chop, a true survivor and a testament to the power of second chances. This brave Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix was once on the brink, injured and scheduled for euthanasia until fate, and a timely phone call, gave him another shot at life. His unique name comes from the twist of luck that saved him, after a harrowing ordeal involving a severely injured front leg and another marked by pellets from being shot. Thanks to the care and support of dedicated rescuers, Pork Chop received the surgery he desperately needed—he is now healing with a plate in his leg and living life pain-free. Despite his tough start, Pork Chop is a beacon of sweetness. He is wonderful with all dogs, has a gentle nature with children, and makes friends with everyone he meets, except for cats, which are not his cup of tea. Throughout his treatment, he earned praise from his veterinary care team for being a terrific patient, and even though he may develop arthritis in his leg as he ages, it hasn’t slowed this real boy down. Pork Chop is ready to bring joy, loyalty, and resilience into the home of a very lucky adopter. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
