About Whiskey
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet sweet and energetic Whiskey! She’s a delightful 6-year-old spayed Lab mix tipping the scales at about 55 lbs, perfectly fitting the medium-sized pooch category. Whiskey’s lively spirit and love for fun have kept the search going for her perfect home for a few years—her big energy and reputation as a fence climber make her a unique adoption candidate. The right match for her is out there, and she’s ready for that next exciting chapter! Whiskey loves to play hard and snooze just as hard. While she gets along with most dogs, she does best with friendly canine companions and prefers to steer clear of unfriendly ones. She’ll need a securely fenced (fully wooden) yard, as climbing is one of her special talents! Whiskey would be happiest with adopters who are dedicated to training and enjoy an active lifestyle, possibly a couple with time to invest in her. Life in a loving home will help her flourish and show all the affection and intelligence she’s known for at the rescue. Her charming, upright ears and playful personality make her impossible not to love, and she has a unique burn scar down her back—she came to rescue this way, and though she’ll never grow fur there, it’s part of her special charm.
