Eve is a large, adult female Pit Bull Terrier with a striking gray-blue coat. At just over two years old, she’s already spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Eve is currently in Northbrook, IL and waiting for her forever home.

About Eve

Eve arrived at the rescue with a big belly and a gentle heart, delivering eight healthy puppies soon after settling into her foster home. She proved herself as a patient, doting mom and quickly built trust with her caregivers. Now her pups have found families, and it’s Eve’s turn for a fresh start. Eve weighs about 90 pounds and likes to pretend she’s small enough to curl up on your lap. She’s happiest pressed up against her people, tossing toys around, or snuggling on the couch. Food is a major motivator for Eve, so training sessions go smoothly with the right treats. While she welcomes visitors warmly, she tends to be selective about other dogs. In her foster home, she’s coexisted with a few calm canines but can be reactive—she’ll do best as an only pet, or possibly with a steady companion. Leash walks are still a work in progress. Eve has leash reactivity and a strong pull, so a handler confident in managing big dogs and committed to ongoing training will suit her best. Plush toys won’t last long, but Eve’s loyalty and affection are second to none. She’s put in her time as a nurturing mom—now it’s her chance to be spoiled and center-stage. Ready to fall in love?
