Her days are best spent basking in sunny spots, enjoying slow walks with plenty of sniff breaks, and curling up for naps on her favorite soft bed or couch (with a little help getting up, of course). Car rides are another of her simple pleasures; she rides quietly and content in the back seat. At 13 years old, Princess has a bit of arthritis that slows her pace, but she doesn't let it dampen her spirit. She never pulls on leash, always listens when asked to wait, and shows her polite side by offering a paw for treats. Since her hearing isn't what it used to be, she's getting the hang of hand signals and thrives on gentle guidance and encouragement. Princess has coexisted peacefully with cats after a slow introduction, and though she's managed to be cordial with some dogs, she prefers to be the only dog in her home—she loves having all the attention to herself. A peaceful, loving household where she can be adored is her dream. Princess is sensitive, affectionate, and happiest when surrounded by human companionship.
