Lady is sweet, social, and *very* housebroken — she takes pride in keeping her space neat and tidy! Confident and strong, she’s the kind of dog who knows what she wants, but she also has a soft side that shines through when she’s getting affection from the people she trusts. When Lady first arrived, she was clearly uncomfortable in the shelter environment. We’ve since learned that she’s not a fan of other dogs — understandable, considering she bears a few old scars that hint at a rough past. Over time, though, she’s opened up beautifully, showing us how much she loves attention, belly rubs, and gentle words. Lady would do best as the *only pet* in a calm, quiet home where she can finally relax and enjoy being the star of the show. A fenced yard would be ideal, as she’s a strong girl on leash who loves to stretch her legs and feel the breeze. She’d thrive with kids 14+ who can match her confident but loving spirit.
