About Bandit
Bandit is a sensitive, newly spayed, one-year-old girl looking for a peaceful forever home. Life at the shelter has been tough on her, but she has found comfort carrying a stuffed toy in her mouth—it’s her way of coping and feeling safe. While she came in with another female dog, the shelter environment has left her reactive to other dogs, so Bandit would do best as the only pet where she can fully relax. In quiet, calm households, Bandit's gentle side comes out. She enjoys attention and soft companionship, preferring to take things slow—especially with men, needing patience and gentle introductions. Bandit is working on building her confidence every day, and she knows how to use a crate and follow basic cues like sit and lay down. She’ll thrive with a patient adopter who understands her need for time and consistency. Older children who can respect her boundaries would be best. Bandit is learning more about herself each day and is ready to blossom with the right support. Your new best friend is just one click away.
