About Charlie
Meet Charlie—36 pounds of snuggly chaos in a Beagle/Pug blend, around 3 years old and absolutely powered by his own enthusiasm, big feelings, and endless hunger for snacks. He’s got two main speeds: full-throttle zooming (with some mouthy excitement when it all gets to be too much) and absolute marshmallow, where he melts into your lap, burrows under blankets, and won’t hesitate to press right up to your face for maximum cuddle effect. Charlie is devoted to his humans—he’s a “nose-to-nose, don’t ever stop petting me” kind of dog, driven first and foremost by affection, second by treats. He’s been working hard with his trainers and, thanks to his snack-motivated brain, has gotten a lot better on walks, with new people, and even in public. The trick to Charlie is simple: snacks and structure. But—heads up—Charlie doesn’t share well. He needs to be the only animal in the house (dogs and cats are a hard no), and he’s not a match for kids. He wants to be your one and only, with no group projects and no extras. In return, he’ll be your shadow, sleep under your covers, and make you laugh every day. Charlie comes house trained, crate trained, loyal, and comical. With routine, patience, and a bottomless treat jar, he’ll be the kind of soulmate dog who follows you everywhere and loves you like it’s his job. Beneath that spicy exterior is a gooey, devoted marshmallow waiting to snuggle straight into your heart—and your bed. Start your journey together! Apply now.
