About Thor

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Thor is an approximately 8-month-old, 50-pound German Shepherd Dog mix, radiating sweetness and charm. He's just waiting for his glow-up as he recovers from demodex mange, which is not contagious and will soon be a thing of the past—his beautiful coat will grow right back in. With a medium-length black and tan coat, Thor might look a bit scruffy right now, but his spirit and warm presence shine through. Curious about everything, Thor was raised alongside siblings and cousins, making him very social and friendly with other dogs. He eagerly hops into the car for outings with volunteers, loving every new adventure. Thor has received all of his puppy vaccinations, is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and will be neutered once his skin has fully healed—this is included in the adoption. He's looking for someone with a big, compassionate heart who can see past his temporary scruffiness. In return, Thor promises love and smiles all day long. If you’re not ready for adoption but want to help, fostering Thor is also an option—just mention fostering on your application. Fun fact: Thor’s birthday is March 31, making him an Aries—known for their enthusiasm and adventurous spirit! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
