About Jessie
Jessie is a gentle hound with a soulful old spirit. She came in as a pregnant stray, then lovingly raised her pups—who have all moved on to new homes. When Jessie arrived, she was dealing with a badly injured eye; after a consult with an eye specialist, the decision was made to remove it for her comfort. The vision in her remaining eye isn’t perfect, but Jessie quickly learns her way around and navigates confidently once she settles in. She’ll require two types of eye drops for the rest of her life. At about eight years old, she’s mellow but still perks up for her biggest joys: food and relaxed walks. She has become fond of neighborhood strolls, and she’s a breeze to walk on a leash. Jessie gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids. Libra dogs like Jessie are known for their easygoing charm—she fits the bill. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and healthy apart from her manageable eyesight. Jessie is in Wellington, FL and is waiting for someone to bring her home for good. Click apply to start the adoption process.
