Starburst (or Starr for short) is a beautiful 7-year-old shepherd mix with a heart as sweet as her name. She’s a mellow companion most of the time, but when her playful side shines through, she’ll charm you with her signature move—a joyful little twirl when she’s excited! Starr loves mealtime, solving puzzle toys for treats, and going on daily walks. She’s still perfecting her leash manners (especially at the start of a walk), but she settles in nicely once she gets going. She already knows “sit” and is working on “paw,” always eager to learn and please. Indoors, Starr is the perfect housemate—fully house- and crate-trained, calm, and affectionate. She’s also dog-friendly and does wonderfully with her foster brother, a 12 lb rat terrier mix. With her soulful gaze, gentle spirit, and bursts of playfulness, Starburst is ready to light up her forever home with love, loyalty, and joy.
