Tate came into the world in September 2016, born under a shed just outside Atlanta. A rescue group scooped up him and his siblings before life could get too rough. His mom was a Border Collie mix—his dad is a mystery, but clearly left behind some charm. Tate is house and crate trained, but still feels anxious in new places or with new faces. Once he settles in and trusts you, he loosens up into a total goofball whose favorite thing is a good snuggle on the couch. He sticks to familiar territory and finds real comfort indoors, so he needs a patient adopter who’ll help him feel safe.
