Hi, my name is Simba and I’m a young male Pittie looking for my forever home. My life started out rough as my first human kept me chained up in their backyard without access to food or water. I also didn’t have proper shelter, so I toughed it out on hot summer days and cold winter nights. In fact, a lovely lady rescued me as temperatures in my area were dropping into the teens, and a snowstorm was heading our way. The lady brought me to my foster home, where I’ve been since. My foster mom gave me plenty of food and water every day so that I could grow into the strong and healthy pup I am now. Since joining my foster home, I quickly learned how nice it is to live indoors. I love my new dog beds and toys, and even enjoy my crate for naps and bedtime. I am potty trained, and I thrive on structure, consistency, and mental stimulation. I love following a schedule and playing games that exercise my brain. I’m also learning how to go on walks, which I quite like! I’m a very loving pup, and I’m curious when meeting new people and pets. I've done well with kids and dogs who are gentle with me, however I am a little too curious about cats so a cat free home would be the best for me. I would love to find a family experienced in raising a young dog who can help me continue building my confidence. Bonus points if you have a fenced-in yard where I can frolic freely during playtime and chase my favorite ball!
