Chip is a sweet, athletic young pup with lots of love and energy to share. He was rescued after being found near a forested area, dodging rain in a parking lot—so he’s learned to appreciate a cozy, safe environment. Now, he’s crate and potty trained, quick to settle into a routine, and makes life easier for anyone with a busy schedule but plenty of love (and a bit of time for long morning and evening walks). Chip is happiest with a daily adventure and some challenging toys. He’s working on being a good running partner, and his favorite way to relax is burrowing into a blanket for a nap after playtime. Chip gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a home with a playful, active canine sibling, but is also content as the only pet. He hasn't met kids or cats yet, but because he’s still learning polite greetings, older children are safest.
