About Chip

Chip is a sweet, athletic young pup with lots of love and energy to share. He was rescued after being found near a forested area, dodging rain in a parking lot—so he’s learned to appreciate a cozy, safe environment. Now, he’s crate and potty trained, quick to settle into a routine, and makes life easier for anyone with a busy schedule but plenty of love (and a bit of time for long morning and evening walks). Chip is happiest with a daily adventure and some challenging toys. He’s working on being a good running partner, and his favorite way to relax is burrowing into a blanket for a nap after playtime. Chip gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy a home with a playful, active canine sibling, but is also content as the only pet. He hasn't met kids or cats yet, but because he’s still learning polite greetings, older children are safest. He can be shy when meeting someone new, but with patience and gentle attention, he bonds quickly. Out on walks, Chip sometimes reacts to barking dogs but is showing steady progress. In the house, he enjoys being close—always happy to curl up in the same room as you. Chip is looking for a forever home where he can thrive, bond deeply, and keep growing.
