Meet Moon Moon is a 2-year-old, 22 lb terrier mix looking for a patient and loving home. She's currently living with a large male dog and absolutely loves having a canine companion to play with. Toys aren't really her thing - she would much rather wrestle, zoom around, and hang out with another dog. She's a quiet girl overall and sleeps through the night like a champ, but she will let you know if someone is walking by the house. She startles easily and can be a little nervous at first, especially around men, but she has warmed up beautifully to her foster dad with time and patience. Moon walks wonderfully on a leash, though her terrier instincts definitely come out when she spots people, dogs, or squirrels. Speaking of squirrels... she considers herself a certified squirrel hunter. She's crate trained, though she would much rather be out snuggling with her people. In her foster home she has free range when people are home and does great. She would thrive in either an apartment or a home setting. Because she can be uncomfortable around small children, Moon would likely do best in an adult-only home or one with older kids who understand how to respect her space. If you're looking for a cuddly, playful, loyal little companion with lots of personality, Moon might just be your girl.
