Finnias is the definition of an active companion. With energy to burn, he's always eager for a long game of fetch or a tug-of-war session with his rope toy. Mental exercise matters to him as much as physical play—treat puzzles are his jam, and he’s quick to figure them out. He thrives with routine stimulation, so a household or person who likes to keep moving suits him best. Left to his own devices, he’ll invent ways to pass the time, especially if bored in a crate. Despite being a master of training (he can even walk off-leash), crating isn’t his favorite and he sometimes shreds things to vent frustration. Finnias is house trained, gets along well with other playful dogs, and has done fine with older kids; he’d likely be a good playmate for younger ones, too. He started out with a cat in a previous home, though he hasn’t lived with one recently. Most people hardly notice he’s got only one eye—other than the rare occasion when something sneaks up on his blind side.
