About Dixilyn
Meet Dixilyn, a cheerful, affectionate Shepherd/Collie mix who’s just over three and a half years old and weighs about 40-45 lbs. Rescued from a small Oklahoma shelter, Dixilyn craves human companionship and thrives on being part of the action. She’s quick to bond and deeply enjoys time with her people. Playful and good-natured, Dixilyn does especially well with the toddler in her current foster home, and she happily gets along with other dogs. She’s quick to learn new things and takes direction from other dogs in the house—which is why she absolutely requires another playful dog in her future home for guidance and company. A secure, fully fenced backyard is a must, as Dixilyn needs plenty of room to run and play. Inclusion in family activities goes a long way for her happiness. Dixilyn is crate trained, progressing nicely with house-training, and well on her way with leash manners—though she’ll still benefit from ongoing support. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
