Meet Willowdean! Willowdean's journey began as a stray, and HARTT was actively working to trap her and get her off the streets. However, before they could bring her in, an independent trapper trapped her and took her to county. With no notes or background information, Willowdean's status at county was uncertain. Thankfully, HARTT continued to monitor her situation and learned that she wasn't transitioning well - showing signs of fear and stress during intake evaluations. When they realized she needed help, they reached out to us to ensure Willowdean would have a safe place to land. Willowdean is still settling in at boarding, slowly but surely showing us how great of a girl she is. She's a dream on leash, loving to talk her walks at her leisure. She's shy but sweet as can be, slowly warming up to volunteers - especially if you have some tasty treats. Her walls are coming down and we can't wait to see her fully blossom!
