About Willowdean
Let's make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Willowdean! Willowdean's journey started as a stray, with HARTT actively working to bring her in from the streets. Before they could rescue her, an independent trapper took her to the county shelter, leaving her with no background information and an uncertain status. Throughout this uncertain time, HARTT monitored her and noticed she was struggling to adapt, showing signs of fear and stress during her intake. When it became clear she needed extra support, they reached out to ensure Willowdean would have a safe and understanding environment. Willowdean is currently settling in at boarding and is gradually revealing her wonderful personality. She loves going on leisurely leash walks and is truly a dream companion while out and about. Though she is shy at first, Willowdean warms up with patience—especially if you have some tasty treats on hand! Each day, she becomes a bit more confident and comfortable, and everyone is excited to watch her fully blossom into the gentle, sweet dog she is meant to be. Fun fact: Willowdean's birthday is May 1st, which makes her a Taurus—a sign known for loyalty and a gentle spirit! They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
