About Steve
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Steve—a sweet, gentle giant who’s eagerly waiting for his forever family. Since arriving from a tough start at a shelter, Steve has blossomed into a vibrant, happy boy. He now enjoys good health and brings so much life and joy to those around him. This lovable mixed breed is passionate about playtime, chasing toys, and especially splashing around in water. Steve knows his basic commands and delights in showing them off. He walks well on leash with minimal pulling and responds positively to a confident, steady handler. Steve is both crate, potty, and house trained for a smooth transition into a new home. Though wary around new people at first, Steve quickly grows affectionate once trust is built. He loves giving slobbery kisses, soaking up belly rubs, and bonds deeply as an incredibly loyal companion. To truly flourish, Steve will need an adopter who can offer security, consistent structure, and gentle guidance—he thrives in a stable environment where he knows he is safe. Steve may do well with other dogs given very slow, proper introductions after a good decompression period. For families seeking devotion, loyalty, and a playful soul, Steve’s heart is open.
