About Penny
Make their next chapter their best one yet. After a period of recovery from a broken leg and successful surgery in 2022, Penny found herself in a loving home. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she has returned to our care and is now seeking her true forever family. This cheerful Plott hound/mixed breed is an absolute people lover, building connections instantly with both familiar faces and new friends! Penny's social nature shines brightest with other dogs, as she’s truly Miss Congeniality around them, but she prefers not to share her space with cats. Her curiosity and love for exploring mean that a secure, fenced yard is essential for her new household. Penny is house trained and simply deserves the stability and affection of a permanent home after losing her family. Could you be the one to give her the happily-ever-after she’s been waiting for? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
