Lovely CATINA is a 3-year-old, 50 lb, spayed female, redbone coonhound mix. She was successfully treated for heartworm disease, a consequence of living outside. There are no lasting health problems now that treatment is complete. She gave birth to a litter of pups and now that she’s healthy, it’s her time to shine in a forever home of her own. Catina is independent and athletic; she would thrive in an active household. This pet is spayed or neutered in accordance with our strict policy wherein all animals are altered prior to adoption. This pet is de-wormed, current on vaccines, and started on monthly flea/tick preventatives. Animal Alliance does not adopt adult dogs (over 9 months old) into households with children under 9 years of age due to the risk of bites. Puppies 9 months of age or younger can be adopted into households with young children ages 4 and older. We do not adopt to families with children 3 years and younger or expectant families due to the safety risk for infants and toddlers.
