Faith
AvailableFaith is a 4-year-old, 2-month-old spayed female Pit Bull Terrier/Mixed Breed with a large frame and a striking red and white coat. She gets along with other dogs and thrives in a calm environment.
About Faith
Faith is a gentle, red and white pit mix who starts out shy but quickly wins you over with her sweet nature. Found wandering on her own, she still gets a bit nervous in new situations, yet quickly warms up when offered a snack. Faith loves meandering walks and sniffing around at her own pace, and her favorite part of the day is stretching out for long naps or hanging out with her people. She’s fine sharing space with dogs but keeps mostly to herself, never picking fights or causing drama. Faith feels most comfortable in patient homes where things move a little slower and the kids are older—she does best around teens. She is crate trained, settles in easily, and manages about four hours comfortably, though she’s still working on house training. Leash walks and new skills are a work in progress, but with steady encouragement, she keeps getting better. Faith prefers her meals on time and appreciates people who respect her boundaries (huggers, take note: always ask first!). If you’re seeking a loyal, mellow companion who appreciates the small joys, Faith is ready for her next chapter in Oak Park, IL. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
