About Siena

Siena is all heart. She's a young, big-hearted pit bull mix that craves closeness and doesn't hesitate to show it—with kisses, cuddles, and gentle loyalty. At about a year old, Siena brings that wonderful blend of puppy energy and eagerness to learn. She already knows sit and come, and picks up new routines quickly, especially if there's a treat in play. Food is a big motivator, so she's working on her manners (especially keeping those paws off the counters) and needs someone patient who will keep her moving in the right direction. Siena is crate trained, does well on leash, and bonds deeply with her people. She can be protective, so she's working on polite greetings with other dogs—ongoing, but showing progress with consistent guidance. Siena would fit best with an active family that enjoys adventure and is committed to continuing her training. She’s house trained, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and microchipped. She's not yet spayed but will go home under a foster-to-adopt arrangement until she’s old enough. The adoption fee helps other rescue animals as well. If you want a devoted dog that’s smart, loving, and ready for daily fun (and lots of snuggles), Siena is waiting in Chicago, IL to meet her forever family. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
