Meet Azura – The Gorgeous Green-Eyed Mama with a Heart of Gold Azura’s story began at OCAC, where she was at risk of being euthanized after giving birth to her kittens. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time—and she turned out to be an incredible mom to Nalu, Nori, and Elina. Her son Nalu still adores her and follows her everywhere! Now that her mom duties are done, Azura is ready for a home where she can finally relax and be loved for herself. She’s affectionate and enjoys being held and cuddled, but she also likes to explore and play. She’s made fast friends with the other cats in her foster home and would do great with another friendly feline—or she could be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, as long as you’re home often to give her plenty of love and attention. Azura isn’t the biggest fan of dogs right now, but with time and a calm pup, she might learn to coexist peacefully. With her stunning green eyes and sweet, easygoing nature, Azura is a total gem—loving, adaptable, and ready to brighten someone’s life. Azura is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
